My Name is Nichole Haagensen. I am the Owner/ Photographer for Embrace Your Beauty Boudoir. As well as the hair and makeup artist.

A little bit of a back story on me. I have always struggled with my own self image and self worth. Growing up I was always the “fat kid”. That was really hard to cope with as an adolescent. I didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin. Due to that I was always a timid and shy girl. It has been a rollercoaster of a ride on my journey to self expectance and ultimately self love. One of the biggest roles in helping me get there was doing my very own boudoir session. I had an amazing photographer who guided me the whole time and made sure I was comfortable. It was such an amazing experience I knew I needed to keep boudoir in my life. Through that I worked my way into plus-size modeling. The real motivation for this was so I can show other women you can be beautiful no matter your size.

I fell in love with boudoir simply for the empowering feeling it possesses. I got my start in the industry doing hair and makeup, being a full-time cosmetologist really gave me an upper hand. That lead into my modeling career. During which I took a trip to Hawaii. I made my decision to become a photographer while I was there. I am so glad I did! Because I had my modeling experience, I was able to help coach and pose the other women who attended this trip.

There is no other greater feeling than when I am able to help someone fall in love with themselves for the first time, again, or just celebrating their confidence they already own!
